MAJESTIC AND REDS ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL T-SHIRT OF THE FAN CONTEST

Contest Gives Fans Opportunity to Design a Shirt for Their Reds

Artists, clothing designers and fans who have wanted to design their own Cincinnati Reds apparel are finally getting their opportunity. Majestic Athletic (the official uniform of the Reds), the Reds and MLB.com are teaming up to introduce MLB’s first fan designed tee shirt contest.

Fans are invited to send their ideas, whether a sketch, saying or work of art on the Reds team site at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/sweepstakes/y2012/cin/majestic_form.jsp. Later this summer, Reds’ fans will vote on their favorite design to become the ‘Official Reds T-Shirt of the Fan’. The winning artist will see their work come alive, be honored on-field at a Reds game and many other amazing prizes. Entries must be submitted by July 22^nd for consideration.

“As the Reds continue their playoff run, we at Majestic though the best way for fans to commemorative this special season is through their own creativity,” said Jim Pisani, Majestic Athletic President.
